The remaining 6 islands of the project include Tran island (Quang Ninh), Bach Long Vi (Hai Phong), Hon La (Quang Binh), Cu Lao Xanh (Binh Dinh), Con Son (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) and Tho Chu (Kien Giang).

Phu Quy flagpole was started construction on June 17, 2015 on an area of ​​nearly 200 m2 at the eastern tip of Chuoi hill, below is Ganh Hang beach (Trieu Duong village, Tam Thanh commune). The work has 4 parts including the mast, the base of the flagpole , the steps and the surrounding area. Phu Quy Flagpole Tower has a height of 22.6 m made of iron with a flag size of 4 x 6 m. The base of the flagpole with 4 equal sides, 5.2m high is built of reinforced concrete to help Phu Quy Flagpole be solid. The surface of the body of the Phu Quy Flagpole is covered with gray-white granite, decorated with 2 symbols of the Red Flag, the Yellow Star, the National Emblem, the National Ensign and the geographical coordinates of the Phu Quy Flagpole. The terrace and the surrounding campus are square in shape, facing the East Sea. Flagpole foundationwith an area of ​​​​about 10.24 m2, buried deep under the mountain rock layer with solid foundation engineering (of lighthouse works). Particularly, the national flag hanging on Phu Quy Flagpole has a size of 4 x 6m, sewn with high-strength fabric to adapt to strong sea winds. The total investment cost to build a sovereign flagpole on Phu Quy island district is more than 1.26 billion VND.
